I grew up here, in a village on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines in the province of Parma, in Solignano, and I spent my summers as a child on my maternal grandparents' farm in Beccaria, a few houses in the heart of an enchanted valley. The house has belonged to my family for more than 100 years and was recovered after a long restoration that lasted 15 years, using the original materials and respecting the shapes and proportions of the time.
That will be your home,we will learn the history of Emilian art and taste the delights of the area, drink wine and learn to be Italian or rather Emilian.
This experience was born to nourish the spirit, to stimulate your senses and to elevate you to a state of pure and sincere joy, the one that comes from simple but extraordinary things.
This week is all about having incredibly unique cultural experiences that will give you memories to last a lifetime
We'll visit with a small, family-run traditional Balsamic Vinegar producer in Modena, a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese producer and even a small Parma Prosciutto producer.
